June 2021 Apprentice Seminar

  • June 19, 2021
  • 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Matt Gould's house in Fort Collins, Colorado

The first of our 2021 apprentice seminars is coming up soon.  This seminar is going to cover how to get started, studying and taking the test, equipment, Bird ID, building a mews, finding a sponsor, Ethics, etc.

There will be lots of time for questions and getting to know each other. I am purposely not giving a location for these seminars just yet as I don’t know what the regulations for gatherings will look like until we get closer to the events. It may be possible for us to all meet face to face. That is certainly the best way to do this.

If we can’t meet in person, then we can always do a zoom meeting. Not nearly as much fun but at least we can give it our best. I would also love to have all you experienced and not so experienced falconers to join in. It is always great to hear from lots of folks on how they go about this thing we call falconry. So, stay tuned and I will be in touch.

This seminar is free of charge to all members of Colorado Hawking club.  These are great seminars that give you a lot of information on how to get started in falconry

Please send your RSVP to our Apprentice Director, Don Born, if you would like to attend, via his, via his email: apprentice@coloradohawkingclub.com or call him at 719-244-1684.  Once you've sent your RSVP to Don, you will be provided with the address for Matt's House.
